CPI Inflation Report of CPI February 2025:
The prices of goods and services increased less than expected in February, as consumers and companies took care of inflation inflation tariffs, the BIRO said on Wednesday.
Consumer prices index, a wide cost of costs in the US economy, marked a seasonally adapted 0.2% for the month, which is an annual rate of inflation at 2.8%, according to the Agency of the Department of Labor.
With the exception of food and energy prices, the basic CPI also increased 0.2% of the month and was 3.1% per 12 months.
The economists examined by Dow Jones sought 0.3% increase both on the main and core, with annual rates of 2.9% and 3.2%, which means that all rates were 0.1 percent less than expected.
Futuras shares kept positive after the release, while the yield yields were mixed, pushing lower at the longer end of the curve.
