Hundreds of people were killed in Syria after conflicts between Prevladin and Pro-Assad’s forces escalated into sectasy violence, with the temporary President Ahmed al-Sharaa invited to peace in what has become the biggest challenge for his government to this day.
Many of the targets were Alawiti, members of a minority sect that a former president Bashar al-Assad Belong to and who dominated the main ranks of the safety forces of the former regime.
Although the estimates varied, war control of Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that more than 1,000 people had been killed since Sunday, most of them civilians. Financial Times could not independently check the figures.

Residents of nearby villages said many fled to the Russian military base of Hmeimas seeking protection over the weekend. The Syrian authorities have announced that they have sent local officials to convince them and return them to their villages.
Power was interrupted in Latakia as a result of a fight, according to a state news agency.
