Hundreds killed in conflicts and revenge attacks in Syria

Hundreds of people were killed in Syria after conflicts between Prevladin and Pro-Assad’s forces escalated into sectasy violence, with the temporary President Ahmed al-Sharaa invited to peace in what has become the biggest challenge for his government to this day.

Many of the targets were Alawiti, members of a minority sect that a former president Bashar al-Assad Belong to and who dominated the main ranks of the safety forces of the former regime.

Residents of nearby villages said many fled to the Russian military base of Hmeimas seeking protection over the weekend. The Syrian authorities have announced that they have sent local officials to convince them and return them to their villages.
