Cheltenham Festival: New Lions of Triumph in Exciting Turner Renewal | Racing news

The new lion experienced Hype with the fight of the Turners Novice Novice on the second day of the Cheltenham festival.
The six -year -old was trained by Dan Skelton, and was rode by his brother Harry, who dealt with the black eye, as well as the silk of his new JP McManus owner after Kayf Tara Gelding was bought for a significant amount of money from Darren Yates.
He was 3-1 opportunities and drove in the back of the package, chasing Willie Mullins trained from a 6-4 favorite final demand before breaking the field to cross the line of three quarters of the length in front of the yellow Gordon Elliotta Gordon.
Skelton said, “Our mouths probably escaped with us earlier this season, but he simply looked so good.
“Harry drove him great there, so patient. It’s not a ride at age because he has been doing it for a long time, but what a great ride.
“And the horse was just phenomenal. I trusted him and went to the last, with three of them, I believed he would win. I always believed he would win.
“In my heart, it just seems to be very good to go through this horse.
“I think he could be the best we had, but this is an unauthorized territory for me as a coach.
“His simplicity is his greatest wealth and he is so simple.”
The winning rider – who picked up a striking eye injury on Sunday when he was hit by the draw on Sunday – he said, “He has everything. You hope he will come to a good one day in his life and he’s good. I’m delighted to just come and do that day.
“This place is magical and can give you anything. When you get the winner, it’s special here. You saw what happened here yesterday and you can easily be on the other side, but when you get the winner here, that’s special.”
Dan Skelton added, “I actually went to see this horse when he recommended me at home, I was raised in 10 minutes from the house, so it almost had to be said.
“What a race was it. He just got something that doesn’t have a lot of horses and I can’t say too much. We’re so happy.
“It was surreal to watch him and it was a great performance, I’m so proud of him.
“He is the most ordinary horse at home, he is very casual and I am very lucky to have him. He doesn’t know how much it costs, I’m not a secret, and when you get it so well, it’s almost irrelevant.
“You would have to think that he is a champion horse in the back of it.”
McManus’ winning owner said, “You would have to be very pleased. He always looked like he had a lot of pace, but he showed a lot of resolution there to eventually lower his head.
“These were three very good horses that cleaned from the field and I think he could look forward to him a lot.
“I asked the days if I listened to Hype or it was real – and he told me it was real. He looked best on this side of the water after Newbury anyway.
“I had a horse’s victory in this race a few years ago, which did not prove to be so bad (Istabraq). You ask for a lot to match, so it will do a little less!”
