As a farmer and veterinarian who raised his job by raising her cattle, managing illness and epidemics – as we see with bird flu – It’s a critical part of the job. These animals are our lives, and it is our responsibility to care for them, ensuring that we grow and produce the highest quality, safest food on the market for our consumers.

They have our backs and listen to our voices. We will see the whole smarter policy smarter, advanced policies that will make a big difference to agriculture and our nation.
Washington knows there is a lot of work to do: we need to fix trade imbalances and grow markets. We need to invest in more and better research. We need to stabilize growing entry costs and increase income from farms. We need to build better plans to fight the devastating epidemics of the disease. We need to deal with the lack of work. We need to understand how we can Spend new technologiesat the same time protecting our information. That’s just the beginning, but we know that this administration is ready to hit a butt.

Nebraska fields and pastures are expansive – about 90% of our country are dedicated to agriculture and rancing. I saw it firsthand: as rural passes, so does agriculture. Secretary Rollins believes that and she is an advocate for us. I heard that she articulated the vision of rural economic prosperity and development that would have long been going to our families and communities.
We need to cooperate with our federal partners to help build this time American agriculture. We know that our potential is second. We have the best people and heavy water, crops and cattle. With great optimism and renewed partnerships, this season of leadership and the new opportunity will lead to a long period of abundance- And cheaper eggs – For the American people.
