The president spoke about an hour and 40 minutes – the longest address presided over by the President before the congress meeting, according to the US Presidency project at the California University of Santa Barbara.

The President used his first address to a common session of the congress to highlight the achievements of his administration so far, using his infamous “Weaving Art” technique to connect each section.

The theme of the president’s speech was “renewing American dream”, focusing on border security, economics, energy, end of “awakened” America, his plans for peace around the world and a reinforced army and more.

“My fellow citizens, America has come back,” Trump said at the beginning of his speech on Tuesday, which encouraged the audience to break into the foam “Now, now, now.”
