New York City refused FEMA’s request back $ 80 million in migrant funds

The verdict followed as Adams and his colleagues “shrine” democratic mayors testified to their response to the migrant crisis on Capitol Hill on Wednesday.
“I am here today to testify to how New York City can continue to reduce crime, even as the city of the sanctuary,” Adams told the Supervisory Board of Supervision and the Government.

Adams vowed to protect the residents of New York, who complying with the law, regardless of immigration status, at the same time directing NYPD officials to adhere to DHS and ICE.
