As the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 soon approaches, all franchises began their preparations in their team camps. A video of former skipper MS Dhoni and comprehensive Ravicharndran Ashwin has attracted the attention of chennai super Kings (CSK) fans on social media platforms.
Ravichardran Ashwin joined Chennai Super Kings on the eve of the IPL 2025 season after being published by Rajasthan Royals (RR), who decided not to keep him in auction. The team invested a lot to bring back a veteran festive stock, providing it for 9.75 crowns at the auction of 2025.
Ravicharndran Ashwin, MS Dhoni to play together for CSK in IPL 2025
Ashwin started his IPL career with Super Kings in 2009 and played for the franchise until 2015. The veteran off-pinner played 212 IPL matches, taking 180 Wickeke on average 29.82 and a rate of economy of 7.12, showing its great experience. The 38-year-old recently withdrew from the International Crown.
Meanwhile, the five -time IPL champions kept Mrs. Dhoni as an unprecedented player on the eve of the IPL 2025 auction. According to the new retention rules, the team can retain a limited Indian cricket such as a player did not play international crisner or had a central contract in the last five years.

After ten years, Ravicharndran Ashwin reunited with the Chennai Super Kings after the franchise provided him with a major offer at the auction of Mega last December.
One CSK fan headed to social media x (previously known as Twitter) to share the MS Dhoni and Ashwin video together. The clip, which shows Ashwin giving tips to hitting Dhoni, quickly caught the attention on the net.

Ravicharndran Ashwin played 97 matches for Super Kings from 2009 to 2015. The off-pinner took 90 Wickeke on average 24.22 and an economical rate of 6.46, with its best bowling figures for CSK and 3/16.
With Ashwin baton, he scored 190 running in 31 stacks at a rate of 94 and 23 as his highest result. He also contributed to the field, taking 20 catch during his time with the franchise.
After leaving CSK, he continued to represent Rising full supergiant, Punjab Kings, Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals.
Chennai Super Kings to start the IPL 2025 campaign on March 23
The Super Kings will begin their IPL 2025 campaign against the Mumbai rival Indians (Mi) at the iconic Ma Chidambaram iconic stadium in Chennai on Sunday, March 2nd. After their introductory match, CSK led by Ruturaj Gaikwad will be taken over by CSK Royal Challengers (RCB) in Chennai in March 28.
The team based in Chennai finished fifth last season, winning seven of the 14 league stage matches. They had the same number of points as the Royal Challengers Bengalur, but they missed the playoffs due to the lower net running rate (NRR). Delhi Capitals (DC) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) also had 14 points.
