Nyc Buzz Build: Canelo-SCULL journalists conference indicates the beginning of an inconvenient championship trip

Super middle champions Canelo Alvarez and William Scull will hold a press conference tomorrow, March 6 at Radio City Music Hall in New York, to start promoting their undeniable 168 LB championship in Riyadh.

Road to Crawford

Scull is Canel’s tuning to prepare him for his fight against Terence Crawford 13 September. Alvarez also needs Scull to catch his belt to hold the undisputed championship when confronted with Crawford (41-0, 31 ko).

A press conference on Thursday will begin at 6:00 pm. It is unclear how he will market Canelo-SCULL fighting with fans in American Scull does not speak English and is not well known, and fans who know about him think he is just a champion in the name. He is a belt holder and that is his only value.

Undercard will fight hard candidates Martin Bakola and Effe Ajagba. Depending on who else is on the card, that fight could easily steal the show. Having all four belts on the line will be one of Canelo-Crawford’s outlets. It allows Crawford to try and become a triple indisputable champion. Casual Boxing fans will not worry about whether there is one belt or four to fight Canelo-Crawford, and hardcore fans do not see it as meaningful. It would be better if no belt was in line to fight Canelo Vs. Crawford. Do this with an exhibition,
