Ex-American Secretari for defense condemn Trump’s cracking of high military officials


Five former Defense secretaries On Thursday, on Thursday, he published letters attacked by President Donald Trump, which he dismissed the president of the joint staff chiefs and other senior officials.

The letter claimed that Trump’s actions were undermined “by our all-well-known force and weakened our national security,” and they accused the president of trying to turn the apolitical US army into a partisan policy instrument and the use of shooting, which extends to the lawyers of top army, navy and aviation forces.

All the secretaries of the defense, but one, James Mattis, served in democratic administration.

Trump announced late on Friday, but his administration has yet to clarify in detail what caused an unprecedented earthquake, which also included the rejection of the boss boss navyAdmiral Lisa Franchetti, the first female officer to run military service.

“Mr. Trump’s dismissals ask worrying questions about the desire of administration to politicize the army,” they wrote. “Therefore, like many Americans – including many troops -, therefore, to conclude that these leaders are released for purely partisan reasons.”

Fox News Digital spoke to the White House for comment on the letter.

Former defense secretaries called on Congress to hold hearing to “assess implications on national security” Trump’s release. Republicans have a majority in both chambers.

The letter warned that the Pentagon actions could distract Americans to choose a life in the military, if their career was evaluated through the lens of partisan policy. This could also have a cooled effect on the “Truth on power” speech, they warned.

“We write to ask the US Congress to hold Mr. Trump to explain these reckless actions and to fully perform his responsibilities of constitutional supervision,” they wrote.
