Shubman Gill took over as an Indian to go captain; Test captaincy of the future to the left hangs
Former Indian opener Aakash Chopra thinks that Shubman Gill can be the next Indian Captain Zada after Rohit Sharma. However, Chopra is not yet convinced of Gill’s test form and believes that India can have different captains for all three formats.
Shubman Gill is currently an Indian vice-president in the Championship Trophy, and is already considered a future captain in the 50-story format. Although there is no doubt about his credentials for the lead, Gillin’s form in the test crice has not been a sign so far.
Similarly, it was not a permanent part of the Indian T20I team because the selectors preferred to have a separate format team with regard to the load of players. This leaves Gill with limited occasions, but he still remains a vital gear in the Indian Zada team.
Aakash Chopra sets doubt on the test form of Shubman Gill

“There is no doubt that he (Gill) could be, if we only talk about the game (when asked if Gill would be the next Indian captain). I’m not sure about the test crick. First, I feel he won’t play on number 3,” Copra said.
“He will go to number 4. However, whether he will become a captain in the future, I have no idea. I feel India is running quickly towards three captains in three format,” he added.
Gill has an excellent game of a record in which he currently records an average of 62. However, one has yet to transform his white ball success in the test crice. So far, he has played 32 tests and scored 1893 driving on average 35.05. He showed the displays of shapes, but one has yet to find a consistency in a red ball crisis.

Aakash Chopra predicted that Shubman would have a starry career and hopes the dough will play long enough to be great in this format. He chose Suryakumar Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah as Indian T20I, or captains.
“In ODIS, Shubman Gill is your next candidate. There is no doubt about it, because in my opinion, it will be the future of Great Great Great Great Kriket. I really hope it will surely play 200-250 ODA and achieve a lot of running,” Chopra exclaimed.
“One of the best from all time, he is such a player. He is my captain for ODO, without a doubt. Suryakumar Yadav at T20is -ui Jasprit Bumrah in the test crice for now. Later, who knows. We actually led,” he noted.
