George rose to a football star during his starry stay in Ohio, culminating in winning Heisman Trophy of 1995 with him. He rushed to 3,768 meters during his stay with the Buckeyes.

George spent most of his professional football career with the Titans organization, before he closed his time at the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys. He has 10,441 career rush and remains a Titan leader of all time.

George’s mandate on TSU is in accordance with the trend of the NFL greats, who take over the main coaching jobs at historically black colleges and universities (HBCUS).
