Musk defends E -Cost with the productivity of Doge to federal employees: “Do you have a pulse?”

President Donald Trump touched Elon musk Speaking at the top of the first meeting throughout the cabinet on Wednesday to discuss the progress that has achieved the efficiency of the Ministry of Government (Doge).
Musk, standing in his signed black suit jacket with a T-shirt below, spoke at a meeting where the media was present and made clarifications of what he and Doge do, as well as a recent email sent to government employees.
“I actually just call myself a modest hero of technical support,” Musk said. “As crazy as it may sound, it is an almost literal description of the Doga team to repair government computer systems,” Musk said, saying that computer systems are “extremely old” and that there are many mistakes in systems.
“So we are actually technical support,” Musk said. “It’s ironic, but it’s true.”

He also defended last week’s E -productivity of federal employees. White house Print secretary of Caroline Leavitt said on Tuesday at a journalist briefing that more than one million federal workers participated in Musk and the Directive’s office on staff management to provide a list of their work achievements from the previous week.
“I think this e -it may be interpreted as a review of performance, but in fact it was a Pulsa review. Do you have a pulse?” Said Musk. “And if you have a pulse and two neurons, you could answer E -Cost.”
Musk said the task is not a “high tape” and that it should be something “so that anyone could achieve.”
“But what we try to get to the bottom is that we think there are several people who are dead on the government’s payroll, which is why I cannot react,” Musk said. “And some people who are not real people … as if they are fictional individuals who collect salary … so someone collects wages on a fictional individual, so we just literally try to find out if these people are real, whether they are alive and whether I can write e -hast, which I think is reasonable expectation.”
Musk explained that “our goal is not to be capricious or unjust” in the way Doga works and that “the overall goal here with the Doge team is to help solve a huge deficit.”

“We spend a lot on Ministry of Defense, But we spend on $ 1 trillion on interest. If that continues, the country will go, de facto bankrupt. It’s not an optional thing. ”
“That’s the central thing about why I’m here. And by the way, taking a lot of quarrels and a lot of death threats,” Musk added. “But if we don’t do that, America will go bankrupt. That’s why he has to do so.”
Musk said he was convinced that Doge could find $ 1 billion savings, or approximately $ 15% of $ 7 biliary budget, and thanked the cabinet members for their support.

“We have to move quickly,” Musk said. “If we reach a reduction in a $ 1 trillion deficit in the financial year 2026, it requires savings $ 4 billion a day from now until the end of September. But we can do it. We’ll do it too.”
