Kash Patel swore as a new acting duty chief of ATF

The new FBI Director Kash Patel also swore on Monday as an acting head of the boss Alcohol, tobacco, firearm and explosives (ATF), while he takes over the helm of two separate agencies of the Ministry of Justice.

Patel swore that he would lead ATF days after he laid the oath to run the FBI after a disputed certificate procedure in which Democrats raised alarm about his lack of management experience, among other claims.

The National Rifle Association (NRA) said Patel’s appointment was first for the agency reform.
