Jude Bellingham: Carlo Ancelotti says Real Madrid will appeal to the reduction of the ban on two games of England in two games | Football news

Carlo Ancelotti says Real Madrid will appeal to reduce the length of the ban on Jude Bellingham after sending his job against Osasuna.

The English international was shown by a straight red card for a false and violent language during a 1-1 draw last Saturday and received a two-game suspension.

The Spanish Football Federation (Rfef) has already rejected the appeal to reverse the ban, but Ancelotti said that Real would now try to reduce the sentence.

“We have to respect the decision,” Acelotti said at a press conference.

“It is said, the club will complain of trying to reduce the number of games he will miss.

“Someone will play tomorrow. We were able to pick up good results without Bellingham and we can do that tomorrow.”

Real Madrid sits second in Laliga, moving on Sunday’s meeting with Girona on Bernabeu, but at 51 points with the League leaders with Barcelona.

The Sky Sports’ Ben Ransa reflects on the Subpar performance of Manchester City against Real Madrid, as Hat-Trick Kylian Mbappe helped Los Blancos expel Pep Guardiola from the UEFA Champions League.

They will ask to be upgraded to their momentum after eliminating Manchester City from the Champions League on Wednesday by winning 3-1.

Acelotti said: “This game comes at an extremely important moment in the season. We gave ourselves well against Manchester City and we want to see that repetition.

“We have reached a point where we cannot afford to slip. Laligue is very tight and any game could be crucial at the end of the campaign in a good position.”
