Luton 1 – 1 Plymouth

Luton and Plymouth rival rivals played low quality draws from Kenilworth Road who did none of their efforts to avoid giving up the championship.

Jacob Brown gave the lower side of Luton in the 55th minute, but Maksym Talovier’s equalized while both teams remained in the relegation zone.

Hatters manager Matt Bloomfield is still looking for the first victory since he replaced Robo Edwards as their poor victory spread to 11 games.

Bloomfield men sit two points of safety, and Argyle is one point better, and both teams with 13 games.

The hosts were supposed to lead within three minutes because Cross Alfie Doughty’s perfect cross welcomed the transmission in January Lassa Nordas, but Norwegian forward, on his first start, started from a few meters.

Nordas had another crack in the 14th minute after a long throwing of Mark McGuinness lowered his feet, only to see him bounced over the crossbar.

Plymouth thought they had achieved the 33th minute when Callum Wright reached Tymotusz Puchacz’s passage in front of Thomas Kaminski’s hesitation to find the net, but the flag of the line line was quickly raised to break the celebrations. Replay suggested that he might have been at a level, giving the hosts a major released.

Hatters responded with another effort of Nordas who tried an ambitious volley of 20 meters from the long ball of Kal Naismith, but he outplayed the goal.

The beginning of the second period, Luton approached once again, when Nikola Katic did not properly cleaned Izzy Jones, because Elijah Adebayo read the ball flight, but he could only power his volley over the top.

When the attacker then took off, the replacement brown broke the stalling with the first touch.

Doughtty’s cross in the box Nordas nodded to replace the danger to the ball and put out his header into the net, finishing Luton’s four and a half game without a home goal.

The city leadership did not last, although Argyle was within 15 minutes. Since McGuinness received treatment from the field, visitors fully exploited the deep cross, which saw the elevation of the central Talovier rose the highest and puts its heads down in the distant post.

The city was supposed to go back quickly in front of Shanndon Baptiste -O’s shot, and then Brown somehow put a free header straight in Hazard of Doughty’s Cross from a few meters.

Although eight minutes of stopping time was added, Luton could not shape the winner for which he was desperate, and the replacement millennium Alli put his return over the bar from the last corner.
