The Crown control Committee in India (BCCI) should host a special General Assembly (SGM) at BCCI headquarters in Mumbai on March 1 at 12 noon. The main agenda of the meeting will be selecting a new common secretary of the Indian Cricket Committee, a position that has remained free recently.
The Post Office of the Common Secretary on the Cricket Control Committee in India has been empty since Devjit Saikia was appointed Board of Crown Control in India last month.
Saikia was replaced by Jaya Shaha, who took over the post of ICC President in December. According to the Committee on the control of the crisis in Indian regulations, the place of the common secretary must be filled within 45 days from the vacancy.

The joint secretary plays a key role in ensuring the undisturbed work of the Committee by monitoring administrative tasks and cooperating with other members of the Committee to maintain efficiency in the organization’s functions.
The Cricket Control Committee in India was complying with the rules that demanded a 21-day notice that the SGM is convened. This SGM will be another meeting in less than two months. The previous SGM was held on January 12th for the uninformed choice of Devjit Saikia as a new secretary, and Prabhtej Singh Bhatia as a new treasurer.
