Panthers’ Matthew Tkachuck ‘is grateful to Americans’ because the team celebrates the title Stanley Cup with Trump


Florida Panthers star Matthew Tkachuk on Monday had a proud American moment in the White House while he and his team celebrated their victory of their Stanley Cup with the President Donald Trump.

Tkachuk, who was one of six Americans on priority Last season, Roster managed to address the president during the celebration.

“Thank you, Mr. President, for what you have today. We value him extremely. Since he is one of the few Americans who loves this country so much for yourself is such an amazing day. Every day you wake up really grateful that you were an an American American.

Tkachuk then told the president about how special a group of people was behind him. Florida appeared in the finals of Stanley Cup, the second consecutive time last season and have finally been able to get over the coat of arms and for the first time win the trophy in the franchise history.

“This team and this group of guys are special,” he added. “Everyone see what we do on the ice, but I built connections with these guys I will have for the rest of my life. I am forever grateful to these guys. We are forever champs, and I will always remember these guys.”

Tkachuk and Alexander Barkov presented the president of the Golden Hockey Stick and the Panthers sweater, which read Trump and no. 47. Trump presented a stick out of the room while he and the team moved to the next event.

Panters Tkachuk gained a shop with Calgary Flames before the 2022-23 season, and has since helped to grow Florida.

Tkachuk has 18 goals and 32 assists this season. Florida returned to the top of the Atlantic Division with a 32-19-2 record.
