Ryan also expressed concern about the private information that Musk now has access to as head of the Government Efficiency Department (Doge).
He claims that Trump “allows for the most powerful and richer person in the history of the world, Elon Musk, that he has access to our personal private information in an unprecedented, unconstitutional way. And we have to be outside and talk about it.”
Trump touched the musk Dogea in November and said that the purpose of the department was “dismantling the government bureaucracy, reducing excess regulations, reducing waste costs, and restructuring federal agencies.”

Alternatively, Ambassador Warren Davidson, R-Ohio, defended Musk’s approach to sensitive government information during an interview with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on Monday.
Collins asked Davidson if he was bothered by Musk that he had “more Chinese government contracts,” and now has access to the federal payment system for the US Treasury.
Davidson replied: “I am the euphoric that he finally has access to that,” noting that Musk needs access to this information to revise the government agencies and fulfill his duties as the head of Doge.

Musk got access to the payment system of the US Ministry of Finance through Doge and immediately began combing the payments of the department.
