Spanish football kiss ‘colored’ wins in the World Cup, Hermoso tells Rubiales trial


Jenni Hermoso told the trial of former Spanish football chief Luis Ruis Ruis that the kiss he gave her at the 2023 World Cup. “He stumbled one of the happiest days of my life.”

Rubiales, former president of the Spanish Football Federation, judged Madrid on Monday for kissing, Accused of sexual abuse and coercion.

Appearing as the first witness of the trial, Hermoso said, “My boss loved me, and that should not happen in any social or work environment.”

Hermoso said in court that she had never allowed permission to kiss her.

“I didn’t hear or understand anything,” she said.

“The next thing he did was grabbing my ears and kiss my mouth.”

She continued, “The kiss on the lips is only given when I decide that way.”

Prosecutors call for 47-year-old Rubiales to get a one-year prison sentence for sexual assault.

They also invite him to be sentenced to a year and a half for coercion, because he allegedly tried to press Hermos to say publicly that the kiss was agreement.

Rubiales denies charges.

At the time, Rubiales said the kiss was agreement and denied the so -called witch hunt “false feminism” before resigning from his position.

The three of his former colleagues were also accused of forcing Hermos to say that the kiss was agreement.

Jorge Vilda, coach of the World Cup, Rubén Rivera, former head of the Federation Marketing and former sports director, Albert Luque, are charges.

The trial lasts until February 19.
