The next SA20 edition is pushed back and will not play in the original window from the January-Wave. SA20 Season 4 will start on December 26 because South Africa will not play any tests this summer.

The Pholets Moseki Executive Director added that they would be a challenging hosting test match before adding that playing the tournament on the eve of the T20 World Cup in February 2026 will be a great opportunity for players to prepare. He added:
“Hosting test becomes a logistically challenging in the late stage of this. There is also the T20 World Cup in February 2026, so it is a nice opportunity for players before that tournament.”
Mumbaj Indians Cape Town, Paarl Royals, Sunrizes Eastern Cape and Joburg Super Kings reach Play -off from SA20 2025
The current edition of the SA20 has reached the business region. The Mumbaj Indians Cape Town, Paarl Royals, Sunrizers Eastern Cape and Joburg Super Kings qualified for the playoffs, while the tournament was eliminated capital and Durban Super Giants.
Mumbaj Indians Cape Town will be taken over by Paarl Royals in qualifying 1, which will be held in Newlands in Cape Town on February 2. While Sunrizers Eastern Cape and Joburg Super Kings will play an eliminator.
The SA20 2025 finals will be held on Saturday (February 8th) at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. Coming to the points, Mumbai Indians Cape Town ended up at the top with 6 wins under the belt from 9 games.
Paarl Royals, with 7 wins, finished second on the table, while Sunrizers Eastern Cape and Joburg Super Kings won 5 and 4 games. It remains to be seen who will be crowned the winner among four teams. Sunrizers Eastern Cape are defenders.
