US District Judge Aileen Cannon rejected Trump’s case in July, saying that the prosecutor who brought him, special lawyer Jack Smith, illegally appointed the Ministry of Justice in November 2022. Smith’s team planned to appeal that verdict, but after Trump’s November, he left this in November in November.
