Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani’s visit will be the first Arab leader Damascus from the fall of Bashar al-Assad.
Qatar Emir Sheik Tamim bin Bin Hamad Al Thani will be the first Arab leader on Thursday to visit the Syrian capital of Damascus by December of the Oviation of former President Bashar Al-AssadThe sources said al Jazeeers.

Syrian opposition fractions, led by Al-Sharaa, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), took control of Damascus on December 8th after rapid advancement throughout the country that led to the collapse of Al-Assad’s regime, after 61 years of party rules Baath parties and 53 years of reign of Al-Assad family.
Al-Sharaa was declared a transitional president of Syria on Wednesday and is authorized to form a temporary legislative council until the new constitution is adopted.
It has also been announced that armed factions in the country will be dissolved and absorbed into state institutions.
