Tottenham Boss postecoglou gave a huge reinforcement with van de ven available for Elfsborg Clash
Tottenham was handed over the welcome injury after Ange Postecoglou revealed that the defender Mickey Van de Ven was available for their Europa League match against Elfsborg.
The influential central back has been absent for Spurs since October, with its absent part of the huge crisis of injuries that has devastated the club in recent months.
After six defeats in the seven in the Premier League, Postecoglou under pressure spoke about the need for players to be available again and finally managed to share the positive news of the Dutch defender.
He said, “Micky [van de Ven] is good to go so we will try to get it a few minutes tomorrow.
“She has a good week/10 days of training and is in good condition, so it’s good.”
His usual defense partner Cristian Romero remains for the next few games, though, Postecoglou revealed.
“Cristian is still a slightly slow burner. We have in mind that his injury was just a little different and still has to mark a few boxes.
“It’s not for a horizon right now in terms of this weekend, we’ll see how he’s going.”
Postecoglou said Pope Sarr and Yves Bissout are also available for Spurs, but James Maddison will be brief.
The Australian manager added: “James Maddison got the calf stress so it will come out for 2-3 weeks. Pope Sarr is fine, has nigle, but well and available. Yves Bissouuma is available. I think it’s in tomorrow night to this stage. “

‘Top eight is really important’
Tottenham is currently sixth on the Europa League rankings, which is a point within the top eight before the last game against Elfsborg.
The victory would guarantee their place in the last 16 competitions, but anything other than Tottenham Hotspur stadium would be in danger of slipping from the top eight.
Speaking of the current pressure on which Postecoglou said, “I personally? There is no different from any other game. This is the game we want to win and we will go into it with the same intent.
“It’s a competition in which we really made a good job, we are in a great position and we want to strengthen that position and end up in the top eight.
“It’s in our hands tomorrow night. Victory is safe, and the draw will also be good enough.
