Homemade dog treats (fast and healthy!)
We share a fast and simple homemade dog treat recipe that will adore your puppy! All you have to do is make the dough, cut with a shape as desired and bake.
Hi friends! I hope you spent a wonderful weekend. This week we are in school work again and I started beta testing to teach nutrition. Next week I will post more details about it, so follow us!
For today, let’s talk about dog treats. I know – a little random for a fitness blog – but my most popular posts ever relate to guinea pigsWho,, baby foodand teaching on the knifeWell, we are haha.
Also, Maisey loves them very much and insisted that I share the word for you with fur friends outside.
I made these dog treats quickly, using some ingredients we always have on hand. Maisey loves pieces of healthy human food and let’s just say she likes it. She loves ordinary chicken, eggs, peppers, natural peanut butter and watermelon. Also a big fan of sticks for violence from Progress market. She was also a big fan of these domestic dog treats! They are much better than dog biscuits in the box. Let me know if your pets try them and as always, check with your vet before you change their diet.
Ingredients for a homemade dog treat for dogs:
Here are the ingredients you have to have on hand for these dog treats with peanut butter:
Natural peanut butter (make sure the only ingredients are peanuts and salt; without strange oils or sweeteners), which gives them a little protein and nuts taste
Pumpkin puree (or even puree of batat) – is a great source of fiber
Garbanzo bean flour (you can also use integral wheat flour)
eggs
Instant oatmeal (I would use instant instead of oatmeal)
and multipurpose flour for rolling dough
And that’s it !!
You can also cut them with bone -shaped biscuits 🙂
You can always adjust the cooking time, depending on how carts you want to be. They can also be stored in the freezer for later.
Here’s a quick recipe for healthy dog treats – it’s great easy!
How to make homemade dog treats:
Homemade dog treats (fast and healthy!)
This is a recipe for a quick treat that your furry friend will adore! I used garbanzo beans flour (they like chickpeas!), But freely use integral flour instead.
1 cup Garbanzo bean flour (you can use a complete wheat flour)
3 eggs (1 egg washing reserve)
1/4 cups pumpkin puree
1/2 cup Peanut butter (only peanut and salt) check in the ingredients)
1/2 cup oats for fast cooking
Universal rolling flour
Cuts for biscuits of your choice
Preheat the oven to 325 and cover the baking sheet with baking paper.
In a large bowl, mix two eggs, peanut butter, pumpkin, garbanzo beans (or wheat flour) and oatmeal. Stir until the dough is formed. If necessary, add more garbanzo beans or multipurpose flour to the dough.
Sprinkle some multi -purpose flour onto the clean surface and add the dough. It will be a little sticky, so use the flour to coat the outside of the dough as you roll it to a thickness of about 1/2 inches. Cut the shapes and gently place them on a baking sheet.
Combine the remaining dough, roll out and repeat.
Make a solution for washing eggs by whisking the remaining egg and 1 tablespoon of water in a small bowl. Use the dough brush to apply the egg color to the top of each dog treat.
Put in the oven and bake for about 30 minutes, until it solidifies. Allow it to cool completely before storing at room temperature or in the refrigerator in a closed bowl.
Have you ever tried a domestic dog biscuit recipe? What food your dog always goes crazy for? I never eat chicken without thinking Bella.
