Right-wing Israeli cabinet ministers have threatened to resign over a proposed Gaza ceasefire deal, which they see as Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s failure to achieve “absolute victory” over Hamas. “They were promised that Hamas would be eradicated and, by definition, if Israel negotiates with Hamas, it is not eradicated,” says FRANCE 24’s Jerusalem correspondent Noga Tarnopolsky.
