The couple was on the beach right next to the water, all alone with an umbrella, roses and a blanket to celebrate the occasion.

They both attended the University of North Carolina and celebrated their ninth year together last October.

The New England Patriots he took Maye with the third overall pick, and after early struggles, he looked much better as he continued the action on the grid.

He initially started the season as the backup to Jacoby Brissett, became the starter in Week 6 and finished with 2,276 passing yards at a 66.6 percentage in his dozen starts. He threw 15 touchdowns with 10 interceptions while gaining 421 more yards on the ground and rushing for two scores.

Maye isn’t the only fullback in the AFC East to get engaged recently.

Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen put a ring on musician Hailie Steinfeld’s finger.

The hiring is certainly a nice break from the recent drama in Pats Land — after the New England season finale, the team fired first-year head coach Jerod Mayo, a move that severely criticized by former patriots.

However, earlier this week they made an unsurprising move and signed Mike Vrabel, who was available for a deal last offseason.

Hopefully, for Pats fans, Vrabel can help Maye get his second ring — the next one will be for the Super Bowl.
