Firefighters rescue an Indonesian woman after her nose ring got stuck in a chair
An Indonesian woman can breathe clearly again after firefighters rescued her from the confines of an office chair.
The young woman was at work in Bandung City, Indonesia, when she managed to jam her nose piercing into the mesh back of an office chair, according to a video obtained by ViralPress.
Her co-workers tried to help remove the septum ring from the chair by pulling, but were unsuccessful and eventually called the fire department.

“It was not an incident the strangest call ever had,” said firefighter Mochamad Alam Priabadi.
Firefighters also tried to free the woman in the office, but ended up wheeling her to the fire station where they had more tools to finish the job.

In an attempt to lighten the atmosphere, the firefighters joked with the woman that they cut off her nose or that they had to free her from the grip of the chair with a chainsaw.
After fiddling around with heavy tools, a pair of pliers completed the task in about five minutes – and the woman was unharmed during the removal.

“We’ve had cases that included freeing a finger stuck in a window latch, removing a stubborn ring from a private area and helping a child whose finger was stuck in a table,” Priabadi said. “It’s all part of the job, but the nose piercing incident was definitely one of the most fun.”
