Rinku Singh gets engaged to parliamentarian Priya Saroj; everything is ready for the soon marriage
Indian cricketer Rinku Singh got engaged to Member of Parliament (MP) Priya Saroj. Both Rinku and Priya got engaged in a private ceremony and are set to tie the knot soon. Rinku is in the Indian squad for the upcoming T20I series against England.
The left-handed batsman will soon join the Indian team and is likely to feature in the first T20I of the series to be played on January 22 in Kolkata. He is a key part of the Indian middle order in the shortest format.

Two or three days have passed since Rinku got engaged to Priya Saroj. Priya is a Member of Parliament from the Samajwadi Party. She was elected as a Member of Parliament for the Machhlishahr constituency in Uttar Pradesh in the 2019 Indian Lok Sabha elections. At 25, she is also the youngest Member of Parliament from India.

Meanwhile, Rinku has been named in India’s squad for the five-match T20I series against England starting on January 22 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
Rinku Singh’s numbers in T20Is and ODIs
Rinku is a key player for India in the middle and lower order. He is considered a finisher and is likely to bat at No. 6 in the first T20I. He has been a regular part of the Indian T20I team since his debut in August 2023.
The 27-year-old has an excellent T20I record with 507 runs in 30 matches at an average of 46.09 and a strike rate of 165.14. The left-hander has reached 3 fifties in his T20I career so far.
Rinku also played two ODIs and scored 55 runs at an average of 27.50. Although he is only a part of India’s T20I squad, he has a great record in first-class cricket. He scored 3336 runs in 50 matches at an average of 54.68 with 7 hundreds and 22 fifties.
Rinku Singh’s IPL numbers
Rinku SIngh will play for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2025. The franchise retained the 27-year-old batsman ahead of the mega-auction for ₹13 crore after brilliant performances for the franchise over the years.
He has played extremely well for KKR in the last few years. He scored 893 runs in 45 matches at an average of 30.79 and a strike rate of 143.34 with four fifties.
Rinku had a successful season in IPL 2023 when he scored 474 runs in 14 matches at an average of 59.25 and a strike rate of 149.53. He was immediately picked for the Indian team after his stellar performance this year.
