But a BCCI source claimed that Rohit Sharma will not travel to Pakistan for the opening ceremony of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. He said that they are waiting for the squad to be announced and only after that a decision will be taken. Speaking to ANI, he said:

“Rohit Sharma will not travel to Pakistan, first let the squad be announced and then we will consider this. No decision yet.”

The Indian cricket team will play their matches in the UAE for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.
