Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson separated after 10 years of marriage
Jessica Simpson and husband Eric Johnson have split, Fox News Digital can confirm.
The actress and singer shared that the couple had been “living apart,” but did not reveal any details about the timeline of her split from Johnson.
“Eric and I have been living apart while going through a painful situation in our marriage,” Simpson said in a statement to People magazine.
“Our children come first and we are focused on what is best for them. We are grateful for all the love and support we have received and appreciate our privacy right now as we work through this as a family.”

Johnson was spotted without his wedding ring back in November, while Simpson began working on his music comeback.
“She’s working on music and splitting her time between Los Angeles and Nashville. Eric spends all his time in LA, where the kids go to school,” a source told People at the time.
“Jess and Eric live separate lives for the most part,” the insider noted.
At that time, Simpson fueled the rumours split when she posted on Instagram about her musical comeback where she “discovered [her] unique magic.”
“This return is personal,” she added, “it’s an apology to myself for putting up with everything I didn’t deserve.”

Simpson and Johnson they met through a mutual friend in May 2010 and got engaged six months later in November.
The couple had their first two children, Maxwell and Ace, before tying the knot in 2014. Simpson and Johnson welcomed their third child, Birdie, in 2019.

“I don’t find it hard to love anyone, but I always thought I was hard to love, that I was too much for people, or that my schedule was too busy,” she shared with People in 2023. “He knows my heart and understands my heart more than anyone. I have met in my life.”
Simpson also took down Johnson in a birthday tribute shared on Instagram.
“Eric turned 44 on September 15th and his family gave him all the cells of love we have to celebrate his life. My heart is so captivated by this Man, I could hardly call him mine…. We love you,” she wrote in 2023. .
