The impeachment trial of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol began on Tuesday as the Constitutional Court reviews his failed attempt to implement a state of emergency. The session was adjourned a few minutes later after the suspended leader failed to appear in court. Under South Korean law, at least six of the eight judges must approve an impeachment for it to be upheld.
