The final eliminator of Martin Bakole, who will win the right to fight for the IBF world heavyweight title of Daniel Dubois, is set for May.

Bakole will box Efe Ajagba in the USA to become the mandatory challenger for the IBF heavyweight title.

The Congolese competitor had already boxed in Los Angeles when he stopped highly touted prospect Jared Anderson.

“Don’t stand with Martin Bakole. I’m a big man and I’m a machine,” he declared after that victory. “Nobody wants to fight me.

“I’m a machine. I’m in this sport to take over. I want to be number 1.”

Ejagba has lost just once in his professional career and was on a five-fight winning streak since losing to Frank Sanchez in 2021. Recently, Ejagba defeated Guido Vianello, an Italian Olympian.

Bakole has been highly ranked for a long time and is trying to impose Dubois’ title. The IBF ordered Ajagba, as the next available ranked contender, to box Bakole in that final eliminator.

Dubois, who knocked out Anthony Joshua in incredible fashion last year, next defends his belt on February 22, live Sky Sports Box Officewhen he takes on in-form opponent Joseph Parker.

Bakole vs. Ejagba is scheduled for a May tournament in America organized by boxing powerhouse Turki Alalshikh.

He also intends to bring back Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney in separate fights.

Garcia’s bout with Haney last year was ruled a no-contest after he tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs.

The New York State Athletic Commission banned Garcia for a year, but he could box again by May.

He is slated to take on Rolando Romero, while Devin Haney, who has not boxed since his penalty fight with Garcia last April, is scheduled to fight former world champion Jose Ramirez on that May card.
