Suspended South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, who was impeached in December after a short-lived attempt to impose martial law, appeared for the first time at an impeachment hearing on Tuesday. Answering questions from the judges, Yoon denied ordering the military to “extract” lawmakers from the state parliament.
