South Africa squad for CT announced, Anrich Nortje, Lungi Ngidi return
Cricket South Africa (CSA) announced the 15-man squad for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025 without much surprise on Monday (January 13). Temba Bavuma will lead the Proteas squad, which includes 10 players from the 2023 ODI World Cup squad.
Cricket South Africa said in an official statement: “Head White Ball Coach Rob Walter today announced the 15-man squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, to be played in Pakistan from 19 February to 09 March. One-Day International captain Temba Bavuma will lead the full squad, which includes 10 players who competed at the 2023 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup in India, where South Africa reached the semi-finals.”
