Japan, the Philippines and the US pledge to deepen cooperation, says Manila Reuters
MANILA (Reuters) – The Philippines, the United States and Japan pledged to improve and deepen trilateral ties between their countries, Manila said on Monday after a meeting of their leaders.
Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. met virtually with US President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba on Monday morning from Manila.
“I am confident that our three countries will continue to work closely together to maintain the successes we have achieved in strengthening and deepening our ties,” Marcos said during the meeting.
