Domestic nations of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland expressed interest in hosting the FIFA World Cup tournament.
This would be the first time the tournament will be held on the ground in the UK, after two European UEFA Championships held in England in 2005 and 2022.
In the FIFA Council Wednesday, the football management body announced the recommendation that the tournament would take place in Europe or Africa – which resulted in the interest of a collective British offer.

FIFA announces plans for the Women’s Club World Cup
FIFA also announced plans for the Women’s Club World Cup, as well as a separate annual tournament on the international team.
