The New Zealand Fast Bowling Matt Henry is absent from playing XI for the final match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 against India. Matt Henry is not available to choose for the long -awaited tournament match, and the new Zealand skipper Mitchell Santner has discovered the reason during the throw.

Henry sustained his shoulder injury while trying to catch during a semi -final conflict against South Africa at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The 33-year-old ended up with 2/43 bowling figures in seven accessories. New Zealand secured victory in 50 runs and booked a place in the final conflict between the Trophy champion.

“Unfortunately, Matt Henry is off. Nathan Smith comes in,” Santner said.
