Selectors to finalize the central list of contracts based on performance

Selectors will complete a new list of contracts based on October 2023 to September 2024. India ended up as a World Cup in the 2023 World Cup and secured a win in the T20 2024 World Cup and win the test series against England.

The BCCI official stated that the discussions for the improvement of the contract for six months are underway. Selects will reflect recent performances, not outdated achievements.

Shreyas Iyer is expected to regain his central contract on the basis of his appearance at the ODO 2023 World Cup. He had previously been in the B category for the 2022-23 cycle, but missed it for disagreement with BCCI regarding his domestic obligations.
