Turkish opposition calls for mass protests in Istanbul for the arrest of Ekrem imamoglu

About 2,000 people were arrested in Turkish suppressing Anti -Tvhlada’s protests after the arrest of Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu on March 19th. Many protesters are students. Erdogan defended the use of police forces, stating on Friday that Turkey “could not lose any young person to the enemies of our nation.” Despite the growing climate of fear, protests continue.
