25 percent of US President Donald Trump’s tariff on all imports of steel and aluminum came into force on Wednesday, without any exemptions for traditional allies of the country. Importing customs was welcomed by some American metal manufacturers who want protection from what they believe is unjust competition. The European Union has vowed to take revenge on their own measures aiming at 26 kilograms of euros in the value of US goods entering the common market. Also, the fears of recession rattled the global stock market.
