Trump tells high school students to accept West Point during speech on Tuesday

President Donald Trump He realized the dream of high school during his speech at a joint session of Congress on Tuesday night.
In a speech that focused on how hot topics in the whole country had personally influenced Americans, Trump began talking about Jason Hartley, whose dream was “continuing the family’s legacy” by joining the US army.
Hartley’s father, grandfather and great -grandfather all served the land in the army. His father, who died in August 2018, also worked as the Sheriff of the Los Angeles Sheriff.
His dream was to be accepted in American Military Academy In West Point and, as a high school student, Hartley has already applied for a prestigious school.

Trump boasted Hartley during the speech, mentioning his recognition as a six -letter athlete and a “great student” with an average of points of 4.46. Both features welcomed a lot of applause from the Chamber.
Trump’s praise for a teenager led to a very exciting announcement, where he informed Hartley to attend West Point.
“It’s hard to get in, but I’m glad to inform you that your application is accepted,” Trump said, surprising Hartley and his mother.

At a touching moment of congratulations, Hartley approached DJ Daniel, a 13-year-old surviving cancer and a police officer who hoped, in which Trump swore as honorary Secret Service Agent.
Daniel could see Hartley beating on his shoulder and gave him a tall five before he returned to his place a few meters away.
