Trump suggests that we can join the British community

President Trump said on Friday that he liked the idea of joining the United States to join the British community after the report claimed King Charles III he would give an offer.
“I love King Charles,” Trump wrote about the social Friday, as he connected an article, citing a daily mail report, saying that the monarch would secretly offer membership in co -monwealth during Trump’s second state visit to Britain. “It sounds good to me!”
Trump also re -published the same report on the King’s “secret” membership offer on Saturday morning.
Fox News Digital addressed the White House for comment.

The British Commonwealth, created in 1926, consists of 56 countries, including Australia and Canada, most of which were originally British colonies. The monarch is the head of the community, whose maintenance was the main priority of Queen Elizabeth II.
Membership is voluntary.
The US were part of the British Empire before giving independence after the revolution.
India was the first country to decide to stay within Commonwealth after gaining independence in 1947.

Trump had a friendly relationship with the late queen and always talked highly about her.
“I had to meet her very well and, you know, I met her in the 90s, okay, but she was great,” Trump said Fox News’ Mark Levin 2023. “This is a woman … 75 years she has reigned and has never made a mistake.”
Trump also praised Charles and heir to the throne, Prince William, who is meet with In December in Paris, but he had fewer beautiful things to say about Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle.
Trump accepts another state visit to the UK, reveals a letter to King Charles
The president should meet with King Charles during a rare second state visit later this year. He met with the late Queen and Charles during his first state visit in 2019.
The Daily Mail said that the membership of Commonwealth was first floated during Trump’s first term, and this time around the hope is that it will facilitate the tension between the US -A Canada, because the countries of trade trades trade.

“This is discussed at the highest levels,” Royal Commonwealth member told the Daily Mail. “It would be a wonderful move that would symbolize a close border link with the United States
“Donald Trump loves Britain and has great respect for the royal family, so we believe he would see the benefits of this. Associate membership could, hopefully, follow a lot of membership, which will make Commonwealth even more important as a global organization.”

At the end of last month, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer handed over Trump Charles’ invitation to a second state visit, while two politicians met in an oval office.
“I think it only symbolizes the power of the relationship between us. This is a very special letter. I think the last state visit was a huge success,” Starmer said. “His Majesty King wants to do it even better than that.”

Trump replied, “The answer is yes. In the name of our wonderful first ladies Melania and me, the answer is that, and we look forward to being there and honoring the king and honoring your country. Your country is a fantastic country.”

Trump described Charles as a “beautiful” and “wonderful man”.
“I actually met him very well, the first term and, now, the second term,” he added.
