President Donald Trump said that on March 15, he ordered a series of air attacks in the areas held by Houthhi in Yemen, promising to use a ‘irresistible deadly force’ until the rebels supported Iran stopped the attacks on shipping along the vital naval corridor. Houthis said at least 31 people were killed and Trump’s national security adviser said on March 16 that the strikes were successfully aiming for ‘more’ Houthhi leaders.
