Trump’s “Golden Map” Visa could call a fraud, national security risks: expert
The details of the latest visa remain unclear, but Trump said it was just one of his plans to renew American immigration policy.
After Trump’s announcement earlier this month, the director of the Border Security and Immigration Center of the Heritage Foundation, Lora Ries, warned that she could call the fraud.
“Every immigration benefit draws with fraud … People are ready to do anything and say almost everything that will come to the US,” Ries told Fox News Digital.
While Ries acknowledged the goals behind the program, she expressed skepticism that all applicants could be checked to the extent necessary to prevent the type of fraud that existed in a similar EB-5 VISA programwhich Trump’s gold card would replace.

“The fraud is rarely revealed, let alone carried out … so it is a low risk, a high reward is committed to the fraud of immigration fees,” Ries said, adding that even the Howard Lutnick Store Secretary recognized in a wide fraud that plagued the EB-5 program.
