Santa Fe, New Mexico – While Gene Hackman’s Longtime Business Partner Dough Lanham awaits answers regarding the mysterious death of the legendary actor, he has dear memories, including the time when the winner of Oscar invented a golf bet with a tool full of coins.
During the Fox News Digital interview, Lanham’s dough explained that his mysterious death asked a lot of questions and longed for the answers. Authorities said Hackman and Arakaw were dead for a few days when they were discovered in their secluded home but did not let the cause of death.
“It’s amazing,” Lanham said about Arakawa. “Her love for animals, the love of the German shepherds was amazing. It was the love of her life and that is why the news from the last few days is really nervous, it is difficult to understand. I hope we get some answers.”

Lanham told Fox News Digital that Hackman and Arakaw were “very, very private until you met them.”

Lanham told Fox News Digital that it was “too hard” to narrow down that Hackman would remember. Instead, he decided to tell a dear memory that he had from the late star.

“We actually met here at a restaurant. A mutual friend had lunch with Gene and Betsy, and he presented us. He was quite interested in restaurant and food,” Lanham said.
“Betsy is a wonderful chef in itself, just an amazing person. So, like an idiot, I said,” Hey, we will cook tomorrow, will we all like us all? “And they said,” Oh, that would be great. “I said,” Okay, let’s see what’s going on tomorrow. “”
Lanham recounted that in “exactly 2 hours” Betsy and Hackman entered a restaurant with a “refrigerator full of food” that Hackman’s wife would prepare for everyone.

Detectives believe that the circumstances over the death of Hackman and his wife, a classic pianist, require a thorough search and investigation. Officials have confirmed that no external trauma has been noticed on Hackman or Arakawa either, and the case remains open until the results of autopsy and toxicology.

Lanham told Fox News Digital that Hackman has created artwork over the years now shown in a restaurant. His first piece was a big mural for which the actor was not sure if he could create.

“So, we demolished him, whether he was framed,” Lanham said of the mural. “Gene would not come to look at it.
