The season schedule was announced in Zimbabwe; South Africa, New Zealand for a tour
Zimbabwe Cricsket (ZC) announced an exciting seasonal season schedule, and top teams of South Africa and New Zealand set up a number of multi -format series between June and August. This is a significant moment for the Zimbabwean cricket, as Proteas will play the red ball in the ground for the first time since 2014.
Zimbabwe will play two test games against South Africa and New Zealand, together with a T20i three-series with all three teams. The domestic season will start with Zimbabve taken over South Africa in a test format. After the Red Ball series, both teams will join New Zealand for the exciting T20I three-series.

The Director of Zimbabwe Crickket Givemore Makoni has called the schedule of the biggest international home season in the years, adding that it gives the players to compete against the best teams like South Africa and New Zealand.
“This is the biggest international home season we have had in the years, and it is an incredible opportunity for our players to test against two world crisp powers,” he said.
“Host of South Africa and New Zealand and for test crickets and an exciting T20I three-series is a fantastic development for growth in Zimbabwe.”

Zimbabwe to start home season with test series against South Africa
Zimbabwe will download in South Africa in the first test match in Bulaway from June 28 to July 2, followed by the second test from July 6 to July 10.
After the Red Ball series, Zimbabwe, South Africa and New Zealand will compete in the T20I three-series as part of its preparations for the T20 World Cup next year. This will be the first T20I three-series Zimbabwe since 2018 when Pakistan and Australia were visiting.
The three-series will start on July 14, and each team played each other. The best two sides will then fight it in the finals of July 26.
After the T20I series, New Zealand will remain in Zimbabwe for a series with two tests against the hosts. Both matches will be held in Bulaway from July 30 to August 11.
