The female runner was hospitalized after she fell unconsciously during a distance race

Dutch Female athlete Maureen Koster was unconscious when she fell on Sunday during a 3000m woman at the European Cosop of Appeal Championships in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands.
The 32-year-old athlete treated medical staff and later transported to local hospital.
The cat was in front of the UK innes Fitzgerald and behind Hannah Nuttall when there was a fall. Nuttall was temporarily pushed off the track and Fitzgerald had to run around Koster.

“I just saw her on the floor in front of me. I thought I had to bypass her and I hope it wouldn’t run me over,” Fitzgerald said after the race. “I didn’t want it to affect my race plan. It was disgusted to fall, especially in front of a home crowd. I hope it’s good. Very sad that she fell.”

The Netherlands later later announced on X that the Koster was aware and friendly.
Koster’s friend and fellow competitor, great British runner Melissa Courtney-Bryant, who ended event He said with Silver that the incident was a “slaughter”.

“I heard Maureen screaming,” Courtney-Brryant said. “I know her really well because we trained together and stayed at Diamond League. Then I saw my leg as I ran around, and I knew it was her shoe. It put it all on the edge, and everyone was pushing more. I just tried to keep up because you didn’t want to finish and so. She was a slaughter.”
Ireland Sarah Healy won gold after Koster’s fall.
