Colmenares entered the United States in September 2022, and a deportation was ordered by the immigration judge in November that year, according to DHS. While complaining the verdict on the deportation, it ended in Chicago.

Two years after the deportation verdict, Colmenares returned to DHS Radar after a weapon charges in the Chicago area last year. DHS issued an icy custody on Colmenares, but because of its shrine, Cook County refused to adhere to custody, and Colmenares was released.
