RSF is charged with committing genocide in Darfur – against non -Arabic groups of the region

Sudan drains the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the International Court of Justice (ICJ), accusing him of supporting the Sudanese paramilitary forces for the rapid support (RSF) in the Civil War.

Khartoum claims that the UAE “is a copy of the Genocide” of the Masalit Community, in Western Darfur, through military, financial and political support for the RSF.

In response, Uae strongly rejected Sudan’s allegations, calling the case a “cynical gear for promotion” and saying that he would seek direct release.

Ever since the war began in April 2023, both the RSF and the Sudanese army have been charged with committing crimes.

The RSF has been accused of committing genocide in Darfur – against non -Arab groups of the region.

According to the AFP news agency, the Sudanese ICJ report says: “The United Arab Emirates encourages a rebellion and support a militia that committed a genocide crime in Western Darfur.

“The United Arab Emirates must perform complete compensation due to injury caused by (by) their internationally misconceptions, including paying to the victims of war.”

The unnamed UAE official said that “the allegations made by SAF representative at ICJ do not have a legal or factual basis, which is another attempt to turn away from this unfortunate war.”

The UN experts who oversee the embargo of weapons on Darfur have previously described charges of smuggling weapons of UAE on RSF through Chad as credible.

ICJ -This advisory opinion is not legally binding, but it still has a significant political weight.

Almost a two -year war was devastated by Sudan, with tens of thousands of killed and over 12 million people displaced, encouraging one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises.

Earlier this week, a difficult shelling in a campsite for displaced people in North Dafur left dozens of people who were afraid of the dead.

The crowded market in Abu Shouk, a camp on the periphery of the city of El-Fasher, was attacked about two hours on Tuesday night, a local official told the BBC.
