Scott Peterson attacked in California prison fellow killer: repair department


Convicted Scott Peterson killer attacked a prisoner’s colleague in California prison where he is closed for the murder of his wife and unborn son.

“On March 9, 2025, in prison, Charles R. Miles walked the recreation track at Mule Creek State Prison when he attacked Scott Peterson’s prison person,” said Todd Javernick, a spokesman for the California repair and rehabilitation department for Fox News Digital. “The staff responded immediately, using chemical agents and baton sticks. Both Miles and Peterson were medically assessed, determined to have sustained minor injuries and were returned to their housing.”

“Miles received a serious violation of the rules for the incident,” the statement said.

“It was God’s plan for sure,” Miles said, Reported San Francisco Chrononic.

Court documents show that Miles was convicted of murder related to gangs in 2011 and was sentenced to 58 years in prison.

Peterson serves a life sentence for 2002. The murder of his wife Laci Peterson and the unborn son of the couple.

Originally sentenced to death but the California Supreme Court reduced that sentence to life without conditional discharge in 2020.

He was transferred to Mule Creek State Prison from San Quentin State Prison in 2022.

In October, the California judge approved the Peterson the right to a period of detection after a conviction, which the state law required convicted offenses with penalties for over 15 years.
